The wood processing industry could make more money from residual waste
For carpenter’s yards, sawing mills, contractors and lumber planing mills, having their residual waste collected for recycling is an attractive option. Firstly because it means they will not have to get rid of their waste themselves, which saves them a great deal of work and reduces costs. Secondly because the waste material, as a source material for new products, will earn them a considerable additional income. Moreover, the use of these new products will contribute to a better environment. Plomp en Zn. B.V. Wood Fibre and Sawdust Suppliers in Waardenburg, in the Dutch province of Gelderland, has been collecting the residual waste from a great number of wood processing companies, using the excellent logistic facilities they have at their disposal.
